All Purpose Rub

This all purpose rub will work for almost any type of barbecue meat. Experiment with it as much as you like. If you prefer it hot, use more mustard or cayenne pepper. If you prefer it mild (or milder), adjust accordingly.

Just be sure to enjoy rubbing this stuff all over you meats and then enjoying a great tasting meal. Have fun barbecuing.

All Purpose Barbecue Rub


INGREDIENTS

¼ cup of firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup of sweet paprika
3 tablespoons of black pepper
3 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon celery salt
1 tablespoon of celery seed
1 tablespoon of ground mustard
1 tablespoon of granulated garlic
1 tablespoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

 

DIRECTIONS

Mix all of the ingredients well. Store the rub in an airtight container such as a canning jar or a ziplock storage bag
