16 September 2007 Workamper job fairs set for Florida and Arizona in early 2008

Are you a full time RVer looking for a full or part time job? Workamper News Inc, by popular demand, has re-introduced its Job Fairs, and will be holding two Fairs during the month of January 2008, both in the southern US.

Employers will interview jobseekers on January 10-11 at the Lakeland Center, Lakeland Florida, and on January 29-30 at the Mesa convention center in Mesa Arizona.

The Job Fairs provide fulltime RVers who would like to work either full or part time the opportunity of meeting potential employers offering thousands of quality Workamping jobs.

The Job Fairs provide Workampers - persons who combine any type of full-time or part-time working with RV camping - an opportunity for face-to-face interviews with employers from across America. Thousands of quality part-time and full-time Workamping jobs are available each year. Potential employees can attend seminar sessions held at the job fairs covering a host of job-seeking skills. This season's seminars will be conducted four different presenters during the fair.

Potential employers will likely include private campgrounds, state and national parks, motor sports events, sales organizations and national monuments - to name a few. Workampers can avoid queues at the ticket counter by obtaining tickets directly from the Workamper website

Attendees can participate in seminar sessions on topics ranging from Workamping Basics to RV Retirement Planning to Resume Writing. This season's seminars will be conducted by four different presenters over the two day Job Fair.

Workamper employers can include private campgrounds, state and national parks, amusement facilities, hotels, national monuments, motor sports events and sales organizations -- just to name a few. Employers may reserve space by calling Workamper News at 501-362-2637. Workampers can avoid standing in line at the door by obtaining their tickets ahead of time by calling the same number. Additional Job Fair information and attendee camping is available at the Workamper News website.

10 September 2007 Concern over rising fuel prices has increased demand for lighter RVs

A report from the Keystone RV Company indicates that sales of their Couger X-Lite travel trailer have increased during the first six months of 2007. The increase was attributed to consumer concern over rising fuel prices.

The Keystone RV company reports that "X-Lite retail sales for the first six months of 2007 continue to set record numbers and outpace the market, according to Cougar product manager Chris Hermon. With the rapid growth in orders, production rates for the X-Lite are scheduled to increase significantly by the end of the year.

The X-Lite offers not only improved towability but all the great looks and features consumers have come to expect in the Cougar product line, says Hermon. "We didn't take our number one selling Cougar product and sacrifice anything. Instead we broke new ground and leveraged what we know about value, features and floorplans. The X-Lite has a high end look and high end sizzle all packaged in a quality product that can be towed with today's lighter tow vehicles. This is what the consumer is looking for today."

The company also announced that two more X-Lite travel trailer floorplans will be issued in 2007 as well as the first X-Lite fifth wheel model

Hermon concludes that "By expanding the hot-selling X-Lite line we are giving consumers exactly what they are asking for. X-Lite represents the principal upon which the Cougar product line was established-high value, lighter weight trailers that are easily towed."
